Production designer Tom Hammock applies his extensive experience in architecture and science to his design work, crafting films with a strong sense of world and character. After studying landscape architecture at the University of California at Berkeley and production design at the American Film Institute on fellowship, Hammock developed and designed the critically acclaimed horror film ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE. The film was purchased in intense competition by the Weinstein Company at the Toronto International Film Festival. THE KEY MAN, staring Hugo Weaving, Brian Cox, and Judy Greer just premiered at SXSW and Hammock recently completed the short film BASTARD for Kirsten Dunst, reshoots on THE LAST EXORCISM and the feature SIN BIN staring Tim Blake Nelson, Ben McKenzie, and Jeff Garlin. He has designed over 15 feature films and 25 short films such as CODENAME: SIMON (which won the Angeles award for production design). He just wrapped the feature YOU’RE NEXT from director Adam Wingard staring Sharni Vinson and Joe Swanberg, and reshoots on Jacob Aaron Estes’ THE DETAILS staring Tobey Maguire, Elizabeth Banks, Lauran Linney and Ray Liotta. Hammock is currently the visual consultant on the feature THE SAMURAI staring Jason Momoa.
