Jane Adams is one of today’s most versatile actresses, displaying her immense talent working in film, television, and on stage.
Jane was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her current role in HBO’s critically acclaimed series HUNG. The series uses dark humor to tell the story of a man, co-star Thomas Jane, fighting to survive personal setbacks that have been compounded by a troubled economy. HUNG was recently picked up for a second season.
Adams recently completed production in Gus Van Sant’s latest untitled film, co-produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard. Jane has appeared in many feature films has worked with an impressive roster of award winning directors including Jonathan Levine’s THE WACKNESS; Neil Jordan’s THE BRAVE ONE; Todd Field’s LITTLE CHILDREN; Brad Silberling’s LEMONY SNICKET; Michel Gondry’s ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND; Jake Kasdan’s ORANGE COUNTY; Alan Cumming’s THE ANNIVERSARY PARY; Curtis Hanson’s WONDER BOYS and Maggie Greenwald’s SONGCATCHER. She also starred in the memorable independent film HAPPINESS directed by Todd Solondz.
Jane’s Broadway credits include I HATE HAMLET which earned Adam’s an Outer Critics Circle Award, THE CRUCIBLE and AN INSPECTOR CALLS for which she received a Drama Desk and Tony Award.
Jane’s television credits also include FRASIER, RELATIVITY and CITIZEN BAINES as well as several Guest appearances.
